Callout for We Are exhibition

A group of people stand in front of a rainbow flag, they are smiling and look like they are taking a selfie.

Via Banyule City Council:

“We Are” – An Exhibition in celebration of IDAHOBIT

We are seeking submissions from anybody who identifies as LGBTIQA+ to be part of this celebratory exhibition. This is not limited to artists, it is an exhibition of LGBTIQA+ people.

We are celebrating all self-portraits, showing how each person sees themselves, celebrating each person, just as they are. These portraits show that we are all someone’s child, someone’s grandparent, someone’s cool aunt or uncle, someone’s mum or dad, someone’s parent, someone’s brother, someone’s sister, someone’s sibling, someone’s BFF.

We exist in all colours, shapes and sizes, gender, identities, sexual preferences and sex characteristics. Yet, we are more alike than different. Let’s celebrate who we all are, in all our glorious differences and in our similarities. We simply are.

We are seeking self-portraits of you.
